IB and undergrad GPA Question?

I know that IB specifically look at GPA to weed out candidates but I was wondering if they focus on overall cGPA or specifically look at the GPA in actual prevalent finance courses. My overall cGPA out of undergrad is around a 3.1. However, my GPA in the finance-related courses is significantly higher (average of about 3.8 for all the finance courses I have taken) than in other non-finance courses, I had to take for my program. Would recruiters take this into account or is it solely based on cGPA?

Put your finance class oriented gpa on your resume along with your cumulative. I was in similar situation. I played the angel that i was more interested in the fin classes thats why it was higher. It helped.
