Imperial MSc Finance & Accounting or HEC Paris MSc Economics & Finance

Hi

I´ve been accepted from these two programs, however I paid already Imperial´s 4540£ deposit. I aim to work in Europe especially in London after I graduate.

I know that HEC is a level above than Imperial, but is it actually makes that difference in terms of replacement?

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Note - I don’t go to either of these programmes.

From my understanding, in terms of the placement IN LONDON, there isn’t much of a difference.

If you speak French and have an EU citizenship, then likely HEC will be better as it opens up a tonne of opportunities for you in France and the wider EU. However, if your goal is London and you don’t speak French, not sure if there’s much of a difference.

Another thing to consider if you’re not a U.K. citizen, is that the imperial masters gives you an opportunity to stay for 2 years after graduation on the graduate diploma visa. HEC doesn’t.
