Based on what I've heard from GSB students, the interview carries less weight than it does at other schools and is more of a mechanism to keep alums involved. The interviews are highly variable as alums are given a list of questions from which they can choose what to ask.
I think what's more important to the adcom (aside from high GMAT, high GPA) is your answer to "What matters most to you and why?"

From what I've been told, it can't get you in, but it can keep you out if you come across as a bad fit. Just be yourself.

Hi all,
I was lucky enough to be invited to an interview for Stanford GSB for deferred program. Any advice on how to prepare would be much appreciated!
Congrats! When did you get the invite?
