Is Actuarial&Financing in UConn an acceptable choice for undergraduate？
Get accepted by University of Connecticut. With in-state tuition and merit scholarship, cost is much lower than Boston College, which I was admitted to Carroll school.
From US News ranking, UConn is not a good school, but someone told me finance major is strong, it’s not hard for students to find job in New York area.
Any info share is appreciated.
Depends on what kind of a finance job. MO or BO, probably. FO: hope you have connections
if i am in your shoes I would choose BC & never look back. BC is not a target, but you will get OCR from decent shops and if you are in the top 5% of your class you can absolutely land FO role.
UConn will be much more uphill battle.
