Is msc and mba basically the same thing in Uk
I checked info on MBA and Msc courses offered by LBS. Based on info on LBS website average Msc student has 6 yr. work exp. I know in US people with 6 yr. exp. would typically apply for an mba. Is it different in the UK? Would a bank in London care if you get mba or Msc from LBS or is it viewed as a same thing?
It wasn't the same thing for me. I have a US M.Sc. and no MBA, I don't qualify for a variety of jobs in the UK or the US. Some specifically ask for an MBA or "strongly prefer" it.
