Is MSc Finance in the UK worth it?

I'm an Engineering grad with 5 years of work exp (non-financial) in the construction/real estate industry in India. I want to pivot my career into finance (IB,PE,M&A,HF,VC), and for the same reason I have applied to MSc finance programs in the UK. So far I have gotten offers from universities of Exeter, Loughborough and QMUL. I want some insights as to which university I should go to and given the high tuition and living expenses in the UK for international students is this program going to get me returns? Also due to my low undergrad score my profile is kind of lackluster- the reason for not applying to top tier colleges like Oxford, LSE, LBS ,KCL, etc. Any and all kind of help is really appreciated as I'm at an impasse.

He’s literally targeting IB just because it’s the cool thing to do, if he has to ask this question his research skills are laughable and the reply was appropriate it does sound retarded for someone 27-28

not disagreeing on the lack of research but why not tell him that instead of just saying he’s fucking retarded lmao

As mentioned above, none of those universities are targets so you’ll struggle to find a good job. It doesn’t help that you need visa as well. Maybe target an MBA instead.

Also find out what you want to do. Saying IB/PE/VC/etc sounds like you don’t know what you’re talking about.
