Is study abroad in California worth it?

I have been accepted to a study abroad program in California, I would study a semester/quarter at UC Berkeley, UCLA, or UCSB.

I am currently in my sophomore year at a non-target university in Italy.

I calculated that it would cost around $10k (I will not have to pay tuition fees). Consider that in my home uni I pay almost nothing.

Should I accept the offer? Would this international experience look very good on my resume when applying for master's or jobs in Europe? If I don't accept this I will apply for the Erasmus project and study abroad in other European universities.
