Justifying an NYU Stern tuition without IB

Current HS senior who lucked his way into NYU Stern. I have a strong suspicion that I do not have what it takes to make it in IB - I lack the constitution needed for constant 80+ hour weeks. Everyone I know is telling me to go regardless, but I'm not sure about the cost ($300k, though my family can afford it). Without gunning for IB, is there any justification to go there over a school like Fordham, which will cost me a third of the amount? Do Stern kids have access to any sub-65 hour jobs that I wouldn't be able to get over there? I'm grateful for any input!
