Leaving new job at BB in NY for Msc in Europe?

Hello WSO,

I’ve recently started an interesting new job less than a month ago at Citi (in a markets buyside side) but I also got admitted into London Business School’s Msc Finance program. I applied to the program in January when I was unhappy at my old job and decided it was a good time to follow my dream of working in Europe. I’m really divided on what decision to take because I would really like to make the jump to Europe by taking the opportunity to attend this top program, but also maybe it’s not smart to leave my job so soon.

Does anyone know if Citi’s global mobility is good enough to eventually make a move to London, for example? If so, any tips?

also, would taking the leap of faith to LBS and draining most of my savings be enough to be confident that I will secure a job in London? I’m interested in staying within markets/trading.

thanks!
