London Business School MiF (Experienced) vs Europe MBAs ??
Hi all,
To give you a context and some further elements: for a less-than-5 year professional experience guy currently working at a Big 4 M&A team in Europe (no UK) and with previous experience in leveraged finance + CFA L2 passed, what do you think would be the best option in order to get a shot in higher-level finance in London (IB, boutiques, PE etc.) between LBS MiF and other European MBAs?
From what I read and some google/linkedin research, it looks like attending an MBA with the purpose to remain in finance would not add an exceptional value, while a MiF, focused in finance and offered by a top university could be a better solution.
Thanks!
From Big 4 M&A and previously levfin you could move to IB quite easily honestly. And I’ve seen both MIF and MBAs from LBS move to IB/PE, yet MBA seem to have more years of work under their belt
Need a bit more info, what other European MBAs? Have you been accepted yet?
LBS MiF will open doors, but an LBS MBA (or other top Euro MBAs) will prob open more doors for those w/ a few more years experience...
