Low GPA high GMAT applying for MAcc/MSF, chances?

Helppppp my anxiety is driving me crazy :(((((((

I’m coming from a public Ivy in the US and my undergrad major is Accounting with a minor in Finance. My problem is that i have an undergrad GPA of 2.92 and it actually has a downward trend (my freshman year gpa averaged 3.93). My GMAT is competitive tho, I got 740 (Q49 V41 percentile 97%) Would that maybe compensate for my gpa?

Other parts of my application are just average I guess, I had a summer internship at an insurance company and also some involvement in student orgs. My LoRs are fine and I’m working hard to improve my essays.

As for reasons of low GPA, it was basically cuz of family problems + financial stress (working 20+ hrs per week as a cashier) + immaturity, and I’m gonna write an optional essay to address that.

What do you guys think my chances are? Any school/program suggestions?? Any low gpa success stories to give me a lil hope? plz help!! Thanks!!
