What are the takes on Finance and Risk compared to the MSc Finance ?
Is the MSc worth it and would help to get a good job (even if it's not front office at GS) ?
My undergrad was at a non-target.

Tier or 2 below the Finance MSc. Haven't seen anyone in IB with that Master's but I'm sure you could still get some looks with good experience.

Is the MSc Worth It?:
In summary, the LSE MSc Finance is the stronger option for maximizing career opportunities, especially if you're looking to transition into competitive finance roles. The MSc Finance and Risk is more niche and may limit your options to specific areas like risk management.
Dont see why the outcomes will be much different. Risk and Finance class sizes are significantly smaller so naturally not a lot of alumni in London. Have seen IB outcomes from both. The recruiters should not see them differently apart from risk management roles.
