Master in Finance Profile Evaluation & Advice

Hello everybody!

I am currently looking for a Master in Finance program (in English) that will suit my rather exotic profile (or to be more precise: a decent program where I would have a chance of being accepted). Hope to hear some tips here.

  • I am 21
  • I have Russian citizenship
  • I will get my Bachelor in Business Analytics in June 2021, the university is decent by Russian standards (semi-target for banks and MBB nationally) but almost unknown internationally
  • GPA: 3.4/4 right now, trying to improve
  • GMAT: 690 on the first mock test before any preparation, expect to improve
  • 2 internships: 1 in marketing, 1 in strategy, both multinational Fortune 500 companies, 11 months total
  • Some case club achievements: reached finals in a couple of national competitions as a team leader
  • TOEFL: 110/120
  • Know a little bit of German, probably enough to get to C1/C2 in 2 years (when I finish my Master's)

Goal: relocation to EU/UK/US, a decent job there

Can you recommend a school or two where such a profile would be a good fit? Should I bother to apply to Tier 1-2 schools (LSB, LSE, HEC, Bocconi, St. Gallen...)? Perhaps going for a Master's will not be a good idea at all?
