MBA Admissions for Top-10 Schools

Hey Guys,

I want to know what my chances are for getting into a top-10 school- specifically:

  1. Harvard
  2. Columbia
  3. NYU
  4. Wharton
  5. MIT

UNDERGRAD: Non-target city university (top 50 in the nation) 3.0 overall GPA with a 3.4 major GPA in Finance

EXPERIENCE: 2 years boutique IB as an Analyst with heavy transaction experience and 3 years start-up experience

GMAT: Currently have a 700 but taking exam again hoping for a 740.

Any of the schools I mentioned "in the bag" with my qualifications?

All thoughts are much appreciated. Thank in advance!

To be honest, nope none in the bag but just basing it on the information you provided. Your GPA isn't high. A target GMAT is of no use only real GMAT scores. Many analysts/former analysts apply.

Thanks for the input, keep them coming!

Do you guys think I'll at the very least receive interviews for some of the schools above?

Killer GPA.
