depends on why you're going. generally MBAs go to either career switch or advance further in their current role. as for the academics, I learned more from working in groups and learning from my classmates. I find that difficult if you were to get an online mba
I think I will mainly do it for knowledge now. So that's why I was considering an Online one. However, I have heard that it is more common to do it for a career switch and here comes the networking problem online. Not really sure about it yet, considering the cost too. Perhaps it is better on campus.
I had an excellent experience so far - curriculum-wise. but I’m switching to in-class for networking.
Perhaps I can switch for Online Courses (more recognized than Coursera ones) and eventually switching to an On Campus MBA. What do you think? The networking and living with others experience is so important imo (twice exchange student during BSc and MSc here).
Unless you have intentions of staying with your employer following graduation or your employer is financing a portion, or all, of your tuition, I would advise against it. Tuition is too damn steep for the quality of the experience.
And what do you think about online Courses?
One-off courses through online mediums like Coursera meant to fill a knowledge gap? I'm a huge fan.
Online courses at an MBA program? Not a fan. The experience is a lot less engaging for students, and there is tremendous value in the conversation, dialogue, and debate of a classroom setting, especially if the professor is a decent instructor.
