MBA prep

Hey everyone,

I’m starting to seriously consider applying for an MBA and want to get a head start on the whole application process. I’m a bit overwhelmed by all the moving parts — GMAT/GRE, essays, recs, school selection, etc. For those of you who’ve been through it or are in the middle of it:

  1. What’s the best general strategy or timeline for preparing an MBA application from scratch?
  2. Are there any off-the-shelf resources or guides available on Wall Street Oasis that could help — like essay tips, school comparisons, or sample timelines?
  3. What’s something you wish you knew at the beginning that made a huge difference later on?

Any advice or pointers (especially anything actionable) would be massively appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
