MBA students living arrangements

From what I understand most students live off campus and not in school dorms. Do most people live by themselves (or with S/O) or do they live with roommates from their MBA classes?

Do the top schools have dorms avail for MBA students? If so, are cats or girlfriends allowed?

Columbia has extremely limited student housing, mostly reserved for international students and domestic students who originate far from New York. Almost no one lives there. I think their rule on SO's is you have to previously have lived together or established a household. They don't want to be in the position where they are just subsidizing your roommate who doesn't attend the program.

Booth has no student housing, most students live in about 4 or 5 buildings in a small area downtown. Lot's of folks have roommates from the program.

Kellogg has student housing in Evanston that is dorm-style suite apartment. I think they are pretty popular.

HBS has student housing on-campus. More than 80% of students live on-campus.

MIT Sloan also has on-campus housing. I think about 1/3 of students live on campus.
