HI!

I am situated in Norway as well. It's probably not that much of a difference between the IB job market here versus that of other countries. I feel that it's hard to stand out from the crowd, however (based on what I've heard from people I know in the business), as the number of applicants far outweigh the number of available positions. There are 800+ people graduating from NHH each year, of which 70% are finance majors. Most of these guys are hungry for IB, and apply to each of the 6 - 7 banks that are employing graduates. BI spits out quite a few students as well. I've heard that it's common with 200+ applicants for each available position. This is probably the case in every country, though..

Thank you for your insight. I will be one amongst those students aforementioned, embarking on my BSc in finance at BI this August. Do you have any recommendations on extracurricular activities that may strengthen my CV during my BSc?
