Michigan vs. BC Carroll vs. Berkeley

I was accepted to all three and I'm trying to make a decision on where to go. I'm from the Northeast and would like to continue to live here in the future working in banking/finance. I'm not a pre-admit to Michigan Ross and I would have to be admitted to Haas, but I'm in at Carroll. Where should I go?

I'm actually on the same boat as you. I got into michigan and berkeley and currently deciding right now. Personally leaning towards berkeley.

Justiny94, have you visited Berkeley? I was also leaning towards Berkeley but after visiting it (and Michigan), I definitely am leaning Michigan. The campus was full of hippies and homeless people. But I'm a little torn because Cal does have a little better academic reputation.

One FO MD in a BB bank that I really clicked with once told me "you people from Michigan are all the same, your love for your college is borderline fanatical." I cannot stress the importance of having a passionate alumni when networking, it's priceless...

Oh and hi wolverine19x89

PS The MD is not from Umich, but his wife is.

I don't know how it is in Berekely, but, like my man ricknroller said, school spirit is awesome here... sooo much better coming here after attending a catholic high school that every student hated... it's also nice having 110,000+ people come to your football games.

-20 degree weather? somebody give this guy a thermometer and teach him how to read it. The weather is better in Cali, but if you're not a complete vagina, you'll get over the Michigan weather.

coat + gloves = problem solved... unless you have a vag

even though I was jealous of Cali weather when it actually got warm around here and I was reminded how nice it is
