Most surefire way into IB for an average high school student

Think of this thread like a hyperdoc if you will. Basically what should someone who is a junior in high school do to open as many doors as possible and get into IB? This question is too broad so lets narrow it down to mid tier undergrad finance programs like OSU, and Penn State.
