Most Useful Skillset for Finance
I wanted to know what skillset is best going to compliment skills in finance in the near future. I hear that CompSci is all the rage now because of automation. If I were to double major or choose I minor, would a double major in Finance and CompSci be helpful in the future for finance jobs? Or is a finance major alone okay? I know that companies like multitalented individuals with a solid STEM background.
you’ll be fine with any major minor as long as you have a big dick and major balls young man
LMAO well that I do, but I'm not so sure about the psych majors. Wonder how they made it.
being able to work at 80% capacity after a hangover
How do you suggest I practice that starting now but legally? I have some NyQuil
How old are you?
I've been hearing FinTech is also the new "thing". Like you said everything is going automation, why not be the one to help automate everything?
Yeah that makes sense, Isaac Asimov said that the only jobs left for humans will be to help maintain automation. What is the best college path for this? A double major in finance and CompSci?
Saying what skills are good for finance is somewhat like asking what skills are good for "medicine". A dermatologist, a surgeon, and a pharmaceutical sales rep have different skills.
What do you actually want to do in finance?
Well I'm not 100% sure yet but I most likely want to do M&A out of college. Do you have a rundown of what skillsets are most important in some common finance roles?
