MSc Finance and Private Equity LSE
Hey WSO,
As an undergrad still undecided between consulting vs banking, is the LSE masters in finance and private equity a good option?
I feel the MSc Management is weighted towards consulting and MSc Finance clearly for finance jobs.
Would MSc Finance and Provate Equity be a good option to keep both doors open?

It's a great course but points heavily towards finance and IB. I have friends doing the MSc Management and taking a lot of finance modules to steer it towards IB (and they've got internships last summer and offers this year) so if you're undecided remember you can shift around with the Management MSc and not so much with the Finance and PE one.

Ultimately no. By the time you reach MBA level you'll have 3-4 years of FT experience and by then they won't look so much at the MSc you did but rather the university; having LSE there will help.
