MSc. Finance - Illinois Tech

Hey guys... Long time viewer...

I have been given admission to the Illinois Tech MSc. Finance program. My concentrations will be in Financial engineering and Financial Economics/Econometrics.

I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this program? The program is quite quantitative and is similar to a Master in Quant finance or Master in Financial Engineering. They have divided the program into several concentrations to make it more flexible.

I am trying to build myself to get into a Prop trading firm or BB possibly in USA or Canada. I am also very very interested in commodities trading especially energy trading related postions.

I have a bachelors in Mech Eng from Canada.

any thoughts? It is located right downtown Chicago. Seems like they have some really good faculty with bunch of practitioners.
