MSF at Suffolk University
Does anybody know anything about the MSF program at Suffolk University? I looked on msfhq.com, but there was not very much information about the program. The school is located in downtown Boston and the average GMAT is around 600. Any help would be greatly appreciated especially about placement stats.
From what I've heard Suffolk could be the worst school in Boston...
Yeah, I am specifically not judgmental or negative on my website, but you can usually tell my opinion on a program by the lack of content when I feature them.
Way too many solid options in Boston to even consider this one.
Fully agree with comments above - it's a joke.
where is suffolk? huh?
I hope this is sarcasm.
If not learn how to read.
Ya I was just wondering. I didn't think it was a very good program, but I have an opportunity to be a Graduate Assistant for the baseball team there. I would get free tuition, free housing, free meal plan and a stipend of 2000 a semester. Good deal but its a bad school
The fact that you can get the MSF for free certainly changes the equation a bit. As always, Anthony is the expert on MSF programs but a free MSF and a living stipend could free you up for an unpaid internship provided your obligations to the baseball team allow it. I can't honestly tell you if the lack of cost coupled with the shot at a decent internship makes it worthwhile, but the inclusion of that info might help people give you a better answer to your original question.

During the fall semester I would have quite a bit of free time during the day. I would be able to intern around 20-30 hours a week. It would be extremely tough to do one in the spring though
If everything is completely free I think you should look at it. If you can get a solid GPA and network in the area it might be worth it. Realize that you will be competing with Brandeis, Bentley, BC, BU and MIT students in the MSF space.
Yes it will be very tough. Have throw northeastern in there as well. I could probably get into all those schools with the exception of MIT and maybe BC because they like work experience. If its totally free, I think it would be worth it
