Need help from HBS alumni to track down an old friend

Hello-

I am looking for a friend I lost touch with a few years ago. I was wondering if a HBS alum could help me track him down, as they would have access to the alumni directory. I contacted the HBS registrar, and they directed me towards the alumni website. However, you cannot access the site if you are not an alum. Dilemma? On a side note, I am surprised that the registrar did not know that it is not a public directory. Or, is there some public version of the directory I am unaware of?

Also, the individual is not a US citizen, so he may have gone back to his country. I am hoping he keeps his alumni page up to date. anyways, would appreciate any help on the matter from a former/current student or employee. Thanks.
