Negotiating merit scholarships

Does anyone have experience with this? I recently was accepted into Wake Forest's MA in Management program, but I'm finishing up my tOSU application for their Specialized Master in Finance. Does anyone have any insight into how generous these programs are? Let's assume I received $10k from Wake, and tOSU tuition is $10k MORE than WFU: would it be a stretch to get Ohio State to match the difference and offer a little over $20k?

As it stands, Wake Forest is the clear favorite right now. I've half a mind to just accept, because the deposit is due in two weeks and there's no way Ohio State moves that fast with interviews and decisions. I'm probably going to email and ask for an extension to keep my options open, but any tips or info regarding negotiating would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone--and special shoutout to @TNA for once again helping a prospective MSF student through the admissions process.
