New GMAT program offers a deal: 50 point increase or money back

Knewton (google it) offers a great deal, so I decided to pass it along.

  1. You take either their CAT practice test, or send your highest GMAT score.
  2. Pay $890 (there is a $300 discount floating around, it knocks the price down to $590) and get access to tons of study material and teaching video, as well as online class.
  3. Study for 2 months.
  4. Take GMAT: if you increase your original score by 50 points, Knewton keeps money, otherwise they refund full price.

To me it sounds like a great deal and I will do it if I get around 700-730 (for MFin schools GMAT is more important than for MBAs). I just hope they don't have a specific policy towards people whose original score is above 700.

edit: just spoke on a phone with Knewton representative. She said they have no range limitations, hence students with even 750 are eligible for full refund. The only drawback is that student has to do and finish all pretest, homeworks, and 6 practice exams, as well as attend every online lecture (or watch the recording)

edit #2: $300 discount http://www.beatthegmat.com/a/partners/knewton-gma…

junkbondswap When you start your study, could you make a topic in Business School Barrage and write short biweekly updates and your practice test results (there are 5 practice test you'll have to take throughout the program? That'd be freaking awesome. I'm taking my first GMAT at the end of September, and signing up for Knewton in the beginning of Octover
