NYU Part-Time MBA - How competitive?

Just curious as to how competitive NYU's part-time MBA program is. Average GMAT and years of work experience in a "normal" environment - ie. not like what we are currently seeing with a much higher app. rate.

Thanks.

Yes, b-school adcoms will look at law school GPA, but will still weigh your undergrad GPA more heavily since they can benchmark that against other applicants. Either way, it's not an issue for you -- your GPAs are strong enough that it's not going to be a factor for (or against) admission either way. B-school isn't like law or med school when it comes to GPA -- once you hit a certain threshhold or range, it won't improve your chances (i.e. it doesn't matter whether it's 3.8 or 3.5 or 3.6 - so long as it's above 3.2).

Same with the GMAT. So long as its above 700 (minimum high 600s), and your GMAT wont' be a factor for admission.

In other words, a high GMAT or high GPA won't get you in, but a low GMAT or GPA can keep you out.
