Pace University MS in Investment Management? Opinions

For someone with a non-target engineering background (employed full time as an engineer for about 8 months, interned fulltime/part time for 3 years as an engineer), 3.4 GPA, who wants to break into investment banking, who also does not want to wait another few years to apply to Columbia or NYU MBA program...

...what do people think about Pace's MS in Investment Management? Is this program recognized as a good primer for breaking into IB, HF, or even PE?

I am planning my "fall-back" scenarios just in case I do not get accepted into Stern or Columbia next year for their MBA program (I believe I can do well on the GMATs, the essays, but my minimal amount of full time experience may hinder my chances)

Is Pace's Lubin School of Business even recognized as being "good" or is it just a run-of-the mill program?

Also, the reason I ask about Pace is because NYC is the only place I am considering for grad school
