Two questions: Did covid make you / your class in PE more likely to apply to b-school this cycle? What round did you / they tend to apply if you / they did?

1. Don't think it had an impact. People who wanted to apply beforehand ended up applying. 2. We had a few apply in Round 1 but more apply in Round 2. Pretty bad results all around compared to how our firm normally stacks up. A few potential reasons could help explain that (top programs taking fewer PE applicants, deferrals at HBS cutting into class size, greater overall applicant volume, and in my firm's case, fewer Round 1 applicants).
