Post MBA Opportunities for BB IB > Military

Hello all, I’m curious what career paths would be available to me if I decided to pursue an MBA.

My background: Non-target undergrad who leveraged strong alumni base to work at NYC BB IB for ~2.5 years as an analyst. I was largely unhappy and burnt out so decided to pivot. I’m currently a combat arms officer in the military (will get out after ~4.5 years as an O-3).

Have not applied to schools yet but given my background I would likely only attend if I was admitted to a T7. Not overly interested in going to business school to work at a bank again as an associate. Do you believe PE / GE / VC roles would be feasible given my IB background or are those primarily reserved for pre-MBA PE / buyside applicants?

Thanks for any insight!
