quantumAmong Harvard students, it's called "dropping the H-bomb." In social settings they love telling people (especially chicks) that they go to harvard but try to act humble while saying it, in order to maximize the effect. I always thought this was total bullshit, but according to my friends at HBS, it can work wonders. Chicks at boston bars are extremely impressed by a guy who goes to HBS, especially if he's decent looking and has good social skills.

yes, but "go to school in boston" is what harvard kids say to try to play it down. no one says, "i go to school in cambridge"
