Profile evaluation - HEC, Bocconi, HSG

Hi all, I'm thinking of applying to the MiM HEC, Bocconi and HSG , the MFin Bocconi/HEC, and the double degree data science/finance X-HEC

HSG undergrad, 3.3-3.5 GPA (5.15/6)

740 GMAT

6 months Strategy Consulting Internship in an emerging country

Exchange semester in another European country

As money is quite tight, I would need a scholarship for HEC, and it would be best for Bocconi as well

Any idea if I have my shot at the program above?

Hey there! Based on the most helpful WSO content, your profile seems competitive for the programs you're considering. Your GMAT score is strong, and your GPA, while not perfect, is still within a competitive range. Your internship in strategy consulting also adds to your profile.

However, keep in mind that these programs are highly competitive and look at a variety of factors beyond just academics and test scores. They'll also consider your essays, recommendations, and interview performance. So, make sure to put your best foot forward in all aspects of your application.

As for scholarships, they are typically merit-based and highly competitive. Your strong GMAT score could potentially help you in this regard, but it's hard to say for sure. I'd recommend reaching out to the financial aid offices at HEC and Bocconi for more specific information.

Remember, the application process can be a bit of a numbers game, so don't be discouraged if you don't get in on your first try. Keep refining your application and consider applying to a few safety schools as well. Good luck!
