Pursue 1 year MBA out of undergrad or wait

This is my first post on WSO, please let me know if there’s anything I’ve done wrong (literally, etiquette-wise, etc).

I’m currently a sophomore undergrad at a target/semi target (I’m not sure which) school interested in consulting. My school has a 5th year MBA program that undergrads sometimes take part in, and I am considering this option. However, I’m not sure if it’s the right move because a) while it’s cheaper to pay for 1 year of BS than 2, isn’t there a chance an employer would help pay for it sometime in the future? b) I’m 99% certain I’ll pursue consulting as a career out of undergrad. Is there a reason I should wait due to the industry I’m planning on pursuing?
