RUTGERS OR NYU STEM

Looking to get into a top masters for quant. Would Rutgers automatically disqualify me, that’s my worry. NYU I’d be paying 80k yearly vs instate Rutgers. Just need to know if this debt would be worth it. Any advice or past experiences, please share.

But like say I have masters from Berkeley, CMU, or a top program. Am I still not gonna be looked @ cuz my undergrad was Rutgers?

Thanks for the clarification. It would probably not matter much since getting into grad school is mostly a function of grades, research/publications, personal statement, and having good relationships with professors, and employers would be looking more at the school you're attending at the time.

That being said, I feel like it would be smart to apply to relevant internships during your undergrad and so there going to NYU could provide an advantage.
