Is santa clara on the up and up to become a possible semi-target in SF? The IB club has had great placement the last couple of years, wondering if anyone had an opinion.

Only one datapoint, but a guy from my non target went to santa clara for a math masters and ended up in IB.
lowkey, a couple banks have reached out for resume books. Proximity to SF helps a lot as kids are able to leverage mid school internships to build out resume which compensates for lesser known school name
seconded, proximity to Silicon Valley definitely helps

SCU's a good school but with limited spots in the Bay for banking, and Stanford and Berkeley nearby, it's always been tough for students there. However, it's been placing more people into MM/BB/EB banks and I wouldn't be surprised if it continues.
