(2) Columbia, Penn, Dartmouth, Duke, UChicago
(3) Cornell, Brown, Georgetown, NYU, Michigan, Notre Dame
(4) Vanderbilt, Northwestern, Emory, UVA, USC, Berkeley
(5) UNC, CMU, WashU, Rice, UCLA, UT Austin, Boston College, Hopkins
Big drop off. Anything tier 5 and above can be considered somewhat of a target school
(6) Tufts, IU Kelley, Northeastern, Villanova, Wake Forest, SMU
These are based on recruiting, student body size/interest, available opportunities, and ease of breaking in.

Bro there are literally websites that do this, you don’t need to spend the time and effort to make your own rankings that boost up your own school.
Peak Frameworks and Mergers & Inquisitions already make these shitty rankings (with stats too).
I really don't think it's worth debating which school is tier 1/2/3 etc… like after HYPSMW, it really doesn't matter if you go to Georgetown, Umich, Cornell, Duke, or ND, etc…
My tier list would be HYPSM as tier 1 and a big tier 2 ranging from Columbia/Duke/Cornell/Georgetown/Umich/etc…
Idk if NYU and Michigan should be in the same tier as Cornell, Brown, and Georgetown
