Seeking out Booth MBA Advice

I'm starting my first year at Booth MBA next week, could anyone give advice on how to make the most of my time here? Classes I should take? I'm not actually an Associate in IB - looking to break into the field, and I come from a corporate strategy background.

This forum won’t be the best source of advice. Go talk to the incoming second years in the investment banking club. They will absolutely help you, not only by giving guidance on which classes to take, but also by helping you to set a comprehensive plan to secure an internship and full time offers in the field. This is a very common practice at the school and it won’t be strange at all asking for advice.

Note: This isn’t a recommendation for every person on this forum to reach out to these people ... but as an incoming 1st year it is totally normal. Also note, the website has not yet been updated for the new officers (this is the graduating class)... but if you reach out to them or ask career services, they will put you in touch with the right people.
