SMU vs UW Madison
Hey everyone,
I know these two schools are pretty different but I was wondering which is considered "better" (undergrad) for IB and/or equities trading. Does SMU have better internships because of location? Which is more heavily recruited? Do SMU undergrads work mostly in Texas and UW ones in Chicago?
Thanks!
Definitely Madison
SMU has a great program for IB, the Alternative Assets Program. Not the greatest for trading though.
For the love of god go UW-Madison. Better/larger alumni network with connections in Chicago and NYC.
Only go to SMU if you really want to end up in Dallas (or Houston).
As mentioned above, this question is really about where do you want to work. TX = SMU; Rest of the country = Wisconsin.
