I find myself consistently surprised by how high school kids on this forum can be smart enough to get into great schools and yet still be so stupid

I mostly agree but applying for colleges is different on the coasts than in middle America. I went to a large high school and nobody went to a top 40 school. I didn’t know anyone period at a top school. My parents are smart and they will argue with me than MIT and UChicago are Ivy League schools because they’re prestigious.
