Taking the GMAT as an undergraduate
I am a junior thinking about taking the GMAT sometime soon, for two reasons. First, to compensate for a mediocre GPA during FT recruitment, but also because I'm thinking about deferred enrollment. I have the time to give the GMAT a full effort attempt, but is there any reason why I should not?
Will the fact that I am taking it as an undergrad be a negative factor?
Will not be a negative factor at all. Only argument against it might be that it will take a lot of your time and you should use that time to network if ur gonna do FT recruiting
Thank you for the insight. The plan is to study now and take it before next fall when recruitment starts up.
Is there any upside, in terms of how recruiters/employers see it, based on the fact that undergrads typically don't take it?
