Target Schools DC I-Banking

Hello All,

I was recently accepted to UVA Econ as a junior. I am waiting to hear from Cornell. I have my heart set on working aerospace/defense IB here in DC. If I do not get into Cornell, should I spring transfer there? I was unable to retake my SAT because COVID-19 canceled it but can get scores within range for Cornell when they reopen testing. Lastly, do DC banking firms recruit more heavily out of UVA Econ as opposed to Cornell due to its proximity? (Think Houlihan Lokey, etc..).

Yes UVA will set you up better for DC banking due to proximity. Tbh there's really no point in transferring, Cornell places marginally better than UVA for your interests and UVA will be the better experience. If you really wanted to transfer, you could but I don't see any real point.
