Being from Europe I can answer your questions for LSE:

GPA: > 3.5 (This is a minimum, I would recommend higher if you are from a non-target) Work experience: None, I think GMAT: > 650 points. (Again this is a minimum, I would recommend getting in the 700-800 range)

I dont know if online programs are worth it. I have yet to see anyone with an online degree end up in any high finance area.
