What are some of the other careers where an MBA is valued and you can have a mentally stimulating career that pays well?
If you spent $250k on an MBA at a top 10 program and you don't go into consulting or wall street, where would you go? Corporate Strategy, Corp Fin, Corp Dev, Biz Dev? etc..

With OC, wouldn't it be much more than 250k?
Costs for B School (Tuition, Fees, Books, Travel and other related expenses) etc) for two years is 200k, probably more and even if you were making just 70 k year, that's another 140k you are giving up in lost salary.
With interest, I think it adds up to more than 250k.

to be honest I think most guys in MBA programs are actually trying to start something. If you look at HBS or talk to people who are currently there, startups and entrepreneurship are the key buzz words
