Transfer First Semester GPA Question

Hey guys, i transferred from a small state school to a target and previously my GPA was a 3.85. This first semester here has been a really rough adjustment, and it's looking like i'll be floating around a 3.0 for the semester at best. When I start recruiting in the spring should I even list the one semester GPA or just list the one from my previous institution. I know I absolutely shouldn't misrepresent my GPA at all, and that it's supposedly possible to network around a low GPA, but I was hoping someone had experience from a similar situation.
