Transfer Options

Hello, I a student who goes to Capital Community College in Hartford, Connecticut. This semester is my second semester and I am currently looking to transfer to a variety of schools in the fall of 2021. At the moment I have a 4.0 with extracirriculars such as 2 honors societies and a finance internship. These are the potential Schools...

Baruch, Fordham, Georgetown, Columbia, Villanova, NYU

Is my GPA and extracurriculars good enough to get into these schools? Also will my grades compensate for my SAT score and GPA in high school?(1160 and 3.2 respectively)

Also, which schools are the best options for investment banking recruitment?

I'd focus on Columbia, Georgetown, NYU, Villanova and remove Baruch, Fordham.

Part of it depends on what school at these Unis you end up getting into. for example, Columbia is amazing but there's a difference between GS (General Studies) and CC (Columbia College), same for G'Town and NYU (Stern or non-Stern).

I've known ppl who went to Columbia GS (they were ex-military) and the G'Town equiv, and still made it into IB, just was a bit different of a path.

Good luck!!!!
