UCL vs Cass - MSc Finance
just wanted to hear some people’s thoughts on the two programs and what people would pick for FOIB. Any alumni or currently enrolled students in either of the two?
Take UCL and don't look back.
even though the course is still considered new and not ranked as high as cass? Am more sided to UCL
It's not about the course. It's about the university and UCL > Cass, by a very large distance.
I think the significant difference between UCL and Cass in terms of reputation will outweigh the potential (although minimal) downside of it being a newer course!
The UCL course is very quant oriented and you should really take your undergrad skills and knowledge into account. Otherwise, I would agree with the rest of the comments about UCL being more reputable than Cass. Also, the network is much bigger given that UCL has a massive undergrad including every possible degree from chemistry to finance.
