UK recruitment from US

Hey I am in a bit of a predicament here and need a bit of advice/help. I am from the UK (citizen) but wanted to go to college in the US. I got an offer from a great school (target) but since learning about all the sponsorship hassle I realised I wanted to work in the UK. So how does recruiting for UK offices work for someone in college in the US? Am I better off going to a target in the UK (of which I have an offer as well) or does it not really matter.
