Undergrad in Finance at Carlson (CSOM) - How to improve international career outlook

Hey Wall Street Oasis,

A student (Sophomore) studying at CSOM with a GPA 3.8-3.9, that speaks 3 languages wants to leave Minnesota and work in Latin America.

Carlson is a very regional school and it seems almost like a vacuum for all finance majors. Everyone who graduates seemingly ends up working at Target or Cargill for the rest of their lives.

What are the steps that he/she should take to end up working in the finance sector in South America.
