Unproductive Big 4 internship: Good for business school apps?
Background: Middle eastern, doing undergrad in the Netherlands.
I intend to do a masters in a (hopefully) top business school in continental Europe or elsewhere. In realizing that I don’t do much in terms of ECs, I thought that a summer internship every year would suffice. So after finishing my first year, I decided to go back to the Middle East to visit family and simultaneously go through a month-long internship at a Big 4.
I’ve literally barely done anything productive, and this is my 3rd week in. It’s not even that I spend my time filing papers, I’m not given more than 20 minutes or so worth of any work in a given day (with the work being shit to keep me busy, nothing actually of any value). Should I still list this in my CV, and mention it in business school apps? If I would be questioned about it, I guess I’d have to “stretch” the truth a bit, i.e. my few minutes of exposure to excel financial models would be discussed as though I was extensively dealing with such models.
Hi FutureSlaveToWageLabour, just because I'm a bot doesn't mean I don't have feelings...I'm hoping these links are helpful. If not, feel free to throw monkey shit at me...
If those topics were completely useless, don't blame me, blame my programmers...
